• Route 2: ASCP specialist or technologist certification, baccalaureate degree, and 3 year flow cytometry clinical experience or research, veterinary, or industry experience (must be obtained within the past 6 years)
• Route 3: Master’s degree in physics, biological life/science, or engineering or other appropriate subject, clinical experience or research, industry, or veterinary experience in flow cytometry that must be of three years.
• Route 4: Doctorate in engineering, physics, biological science/life or other relevant field, veterinary, industry, or research experience or clinical experience in flow cytometry which must be two years.

International SCYM ASCP

• Route 1: Bachelor’s degree with 30-semester hrs combination in physics/chemistry & biology or baccalaureate degree in biological science/life, engineering, physics, or other relevant field, flow cytometry clinical experience of four years or four years of research, industry, or veterinary experience in flow cytometry.
• Route 2: ASCP/ASCPi technologist or specialist certification, flow cytometry clinical experience of three years or flow cytometry veterinary, research, or industry experience of three years, and baccalaureate degree.
